My Hubby and My Girls!

Well, I am what you would call a Southern Gal. I was born and raised in East Texas. I had a wonderful childhood . My Dad worked hard and provided for all of us, And my Mom was a Stay at home mother, She kept the house all tiddied up and had supper on the table every day at 5:30. Mama was one that she liked to do all the cookin, so I didnt get to cook a lot when I was younger. But a love of good cooking was in my blood. I graduated high school and married my High School sweetie. Billy Joe and I have been married for 16 years now , and are just as happy now as we was then. We have been super blessed with two beatiful girls, Alexis 15 and Brittney 12. I love to let my girls help me in the kitchen when Im cookin. Im trying to teach them a love of cooking, like I have. I love to have guest over for a big ol' country dinner. I let them choose what they would like and I prepare it. I have to say of all the foods I make, Baking is my favorite thing to do. I love the smells of those home made goodies wafting through the house. I love the look in my Husbands eyes when he walks thru that front door after a long hard day of work, and he knows those smells means supper is on the stove. I have a wonderful church family, They also love my food. I love to suprise my Pastor and his Wife with home made goodies also. Life is good and Im gonna live it to the Fullest, and that means being full of home made goodies...lol
